Our Process

It’s important that you know what to expect when you first approach us for advice. We follow the below 7 step process for all our clients to ensure that all their objectives are met and they are receiving the best possible service. We appreciate that it can be daunting to start this journey but there’s really no need to worry. We operate with kindness and warmth. You will always be treated how we would want to be treated.

We are happy to get to know you and understand what you want to achieve, and then outline how we can help/add value - all at our cost and without obligation, initially.

It is hard to put a timescale on how long this should take - as some things such as other providers are out of our hands - however we aim to complete the initial three steps in the process in around 6-8 weeks.

Step 1: Initial Contact

This step focuses on understanding your goals and establishing the foundation of our partnership. We will call you for a brief conversation to understand what it is you are hoping to acheive, and explain what we are able to offer. At this stage, we would also explain any potential fees and charges.

Step 2: Discovery Meeting

If you decide to proceed to the next step, we will book in a face-to-face or online meeting, depending on your preference. In preparation for this meeting, we will send you a link to our secure online portal where you can provide us with information, such as income, assets, liabilities and relevant plans and policies.

Most importantly we want to know about your goals/objectives. This allows us to spend as much time as possible at the meeting understanding, in detail, you and your needs and objectives - instead of spending this time collecting facts about you.

Step 3: Initial Analysis

After the discovery meeting, we gather any further information required about your plans, and start to work on a financial plan that meets your needs. We will then report back to you with our initial ideas. If you are happy to proceed, we formally engage with you and start working on a comprehensive proposal.

Step 4: Presentation Meeting

Once we have fully completed your financial plan, we will meet again to fully explain this with you.

We will go through the plan in detail, describing what we are hoping to acheive, gathering your feedback to ensure you are compltely happy - and fully understand - our proposals. If there is anything you are unsure about or need further guidance on, we will be happy to explain before proceeding.

Step 5: Implementation

Once we have agreed the best way to proceed, we will send you a final recommendation report. We will always give you time to read this through and come back to us with any questions.

Once you are happy to proceed, you will give us permission to complete all necessary steps to meet your needs.

We will keep you informed regularly throughout this part of the process, so you know what to expect and when.

Step 6: 30-Day Check-In

Once all steps are complete, we wait 30 days before checking in on you. We want to make sure that everything has gone smoothly and any questions you have are answered.

Step 7: Ongoing Review

We’ll regularly check in with you and review your plan on an - at least - annual basis. Of course, we are available in the meantime to answer any questions, and review meetings can be brought forward if there are significant changes in your life that require a change to your plans.
